Sevara Pan is a film critic, writer, and curator.

She contributes to Modern Times Review, Cineuropa, and Documentary Magazine of the International Documentary Association. She previously wrote for DOX, a leading international magazine for the European documentary film industry.

She is a program advisor at IDFA. Since 2022, she has been on the Activist Film Committee of Movies that Matter, an annual human rights film festival in The Hague, the Netherlands. 

In 2023, she served as a jury member for the European Commission project Support to EU Film Festivals, implemented by Cineuropa, Institut Français, and Goethe-Institut. She is a member of the International Documentary Association.

She is also well versed in the press and editorial work. Since 2023, she has worked with DOK Leipzig's Press Department as a freelance publicist.
